Gayathri Reddy is an Indian model and actress. She was a finalist in the beauty contest Femina Miss India 2016. She made her film debut with Bigil in 2019.

Career[]

At age 20, Gayathri was a finalist in Femina Miss India 2016 and won two sub-contest awards.[1][2][3][4][5] She was selected as a wild card entrant as one of Varun Dhawan's style buddies, a campaign that is intended to celebrate the uniqueness of Indian girls.[6] Gayathri made her film debut in Bigil (2019) in which she played Maari, one of the female soccer players. She had never played football before and took part in a forty-five day bootcamp to improve her football skills. Regarding her role in the film, she stated that, "It was quite difficult to work with Vijay sir initially because there were scenes where I had to look him in the eye and who resentment".[7][8] She played a role in the Tamil-language film Lift.[9]
