History[]

Genesis was launched in 2006, originally only viewable in the Dallas/Fort Worth area on former Almavision affiliates KNAV-LP (in Spanish) and KHPK-LP (in English).

In November 2008, Genesis moved to K31GL-D on channel 31.1 (English) and channel 31.2 (Spanish), making it available to digital TV viewers. However, since November 2009 only the Spanish version has been broadcast (now on channel 31.1). Viewers within that area who couldn't get either station could see live streaming media on the Official website.

The slogan for Genesis was: More than an image... a promise made a reality (Spanish: Más que una imagen... una promesa hecha realidad).

In 2011, the Genesis Television Network quietly went off the air. Their official website was shut down and redirects to a random list of sponsored links.
