Georg 'Schorsch' Volkert (28 November 1945 – 16 August 2020) was a German football player.

He played in 410 games in Bundesliga and scored 125 goals.^[1] He was under contract in Switzerland, playing for FC Zürich, too.

The forward won 12 caps for West Germany between 1968 and 1977.^[2] He scored 2 goals in his debut.
