'Poem Problem Solving'Bold text

The poem Problem Solving by George Ansell is a fun-filled poem. The poem describes a live picture of how a child cunningly manipulates his teacher out of his laziness to show him how to solve a particular problem. Jack, the child in the poem does not want to work on the problem on his own maybe because he was lazy to work on the abacus. There are 5 stanzas in the poem and each stanza contains 4 lines. The poem has to scenarios where the child jack first is in the classroom and speaking to the teacher and in the second it is seen that he is speaking to his parents. The poem is about children who do not want to do hard work and just cram things that is said by teachers. It is about children who do not like to be creative and depend on rote learning. Such children can go only little far when they step into practical world because you can deceive your teachers or parents but not the practical word. The poem is also about the children who think of the work or any task as burden but actually they do not know the hidden benefits of that task. One way to explain this poem is that students can get to solve their answers from teacher for free but when later on in life they step into the real world they will not get free food everywhere and hence it can lead to failure in life as a whole so once should develop the habit of working hard.
