George Borba (Hebrew: ג'ורג' בורבה; born in 1944 in Italy), is a former Israeli international footballer who was part of the squad that competed at the 1968 Summer Olympics[1] and the 1970 FIFA World Cup, Israel's only world cup appearance.
In August 1972 he held talks with English League club Orient, now Leyton Orient and was chosen to play in a pre-season friendly against Ipswich Town but due to work permit issues, he was not allowed to play and the deal fell through and Borba returned to Israel.
