George Wallace Chestnut (September 27, 1911 – September 18, 1983)[1] was an American professional basketball player.[2] He played for the Indianapolis Kautskys in the National Basketball League for two seasons and averaged 5.5 points per game.[2]

In college, Chestnut lettered in football, basketball, and baseball for Indiana State University.[1] He served in the United States Army during World War II.[1]
