George Mayers

George Samuel Mayers^[1]^{[failed verification]} (1860-1952)^[2] was an Irish Anglican priest.^[3]

He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and began his ecclesiastical career with a curacy in Clonegal. He held incumbencies at Tubrid, Killaloan^[4] and Dungarvan. He was Canon and Treasurer of Waterford Cathedral from 1901. Dean of Lismore^[5] from 1913 until^[6] 1919^[7] and Dean of Waterford from 1919.
