Gilbert Guillaume (born 4 December 1930) is a French jurist. He served as Judge of the International Court of Justice between 1987 and 2005 and served as its president between 2000 and 2003. Also he was member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the 1980s.[1][2]
He was born in Bois-Colombes. Since March 2007 he is member of the Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques. He is currently a teacher in Sciences Po, Paris.
