Gizewo [ɡiˈzɛvɔ] (German: Giesewen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sorkwity, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Sorkwity, 9 km (6 mi) north-west of Mrągowo, and 51 km (32 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 320.
