Glaphyria tetraspina is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Maria Alma Solis and David Adamski in 1998.[1] It is found in north-western Costa Rica.

The length of the forewings is 5.6-6.9 mm. The ground colour of the forewings is brownish orange with white postmedial and subterminal lines. The hindwings are mostly white basally with pale brown scales.

Etymology[]

The species name refers to the four spines that are the cornutus on the male aedeagus and is derived from Greek tetra (meaning four) and Latin spina (meaning spine).[2]
