Gloria Peritore (born 29 November 1988) is an Italian kickboxer and mixed martial artist. She is the current ISKA World Flyweight Kickboxing and Oriental Rules champion.

Personal life[]

She was the first Italian to win Bellator (157 edition) in the United States,[when?] in St. Louis, against Denise Kielholtz and the first Italian[when?] to fight in the K1GP circuit in Japan, at the Saitama Arena. She is an anti-violence activist and is specialized in mental coaching (NLP Practitioner). She has a graduate's degree in marketing and has worked for many years in the fashion industry (web marketing).[citation needed]

Martial arts career[]

Peritore fought Denise Kielholtz in a rematch,[when?] having won their first fight by a split decision,[3] for the inaugural Bellator Kickboxing Flyweight title during Bellator 168.[when?][4] Kielholtz won the fight by a split decision.[5]

Peritore fought Lizzie Largillière during Bellator 190.[when?] She won the fight by a unanimous decision.[6] She fought the K-1 and Krush Flyweight champion Kana Morimoto during K'Festa 3.[7] Peritore lost the fight by a first round KO.[8][9]

Peritore challenged for the ISKA World Oriental Rules title in August 2020, which was held at the time by Ludivine Lasnier. Peritore won the title by a unanimous decision.[10][11]

She was scheduled to fight Sonia Dinh at Arena UF 3.[12] Peritore won the fight by unanimous decision.[13]
