Gogołowa [ɡɔɡɔˈwɔva] (German: Gogolau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mszana, within Wodzisław County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Mszana, 11 km (7 mi) east of Wodzisław Śląski, and 40 km (25 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice.

The village has a population of 1,027.[citation needed]
