Govt. Jamuna Prasad Verma P.G. Arts and Commerce College or SBR College is an institute of higher education located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. Established in 1986 and it is affiliated to Bilaspur Vishwavidyalaya.

History[]

Old name Shiv Bhagwan Ramdayal College. It was established in 1986 as Government Arts and Commerce College following separation of Arts and Commerce Department[2] from SBR College and initially it was affiliated to Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya. In 2009, Government of Chhattisgarh renamed the college in honour of Jamuna Prasad Verma. In 2012, it became affiliated to newly formed Bilaspur Vishwavidyalaya.[3]
