History[]

Dunearn Secondary Technical School[]

Greenridge Secondary School was established in 1964 as Dunearn Secondary Technical School (DSTS)[1] at Hillcrest Road[2] with an enrolment of 900. On 14 May 1965, it was officially opened by then Deputy Prime Minister, Toh Chin Chye.[3]

Relocation as Greenridge Secondary School[]

The school is one of the pioneer secondary schools in the constituency of Holland-Bukit Panjang GRC and has hosted two other schools, Fajar Secondary School and Zhenghua Secondary School in its 12-year history.

In 2006, Greenridge Secondary School students represented the for the National .

Merger

Greenridge Secondary School will be merging with Fajar Secondary School in January 2023, bringing the school’s then-59 year history to an end.
