Greg Knox (born September 10, 1963) is an American football coach. He Was Most Recently the running backs coach and special teams coordinator at the University of Florida. He had been Dan Mullen's running backs coach since 2009, having been hired by Mullen at Mississippi State University. Although Knox was due to follow Mullen to Florida, he served as interim coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs in their victory at the 2017 TaxSlayer Bowl.[1] He served as the interim head coach at the Florida Gators after Dan Mullen was dismissed in the 2021 season,[2] he led the Florida Gators to a win against the Florida State Seminoles[3] and a loss against the UCF Knights in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl.[4]
