Greg Kulz is a San Francisco-based tattoo artist whose work has been considered highly influential in the Modern Primitive Movement. He is also known for pioneering both fluorescent (change color under ultra-violet light; see UV tattoo) and luminescent (glow-in-the-dark) tattoos.
He is featured in the RE/Search publications book Modern Primitives, written by V. Vale and , as well as numerous magazines and other publications.
He studied Fine Art at the San Francisco Art Institute, and grew up in Fallsburg, New York and Florence, Italy.
