Guðbjörg Jóna Bjarnadóttir (born 24 December 2001) is an Icelandic athlete.

She competes mainly in sprint races, and won gold in the 200m at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires having also won gold in the 100m at the 2018 European Athletics U18 Championships in a time of 11.71 seconds.[1] She then won silver in the 200 meters at the 2018 Championships of the Small States of Europe in a time of 23.61 and won gold medals in relay events.[2] She became senior Icelandic champion in the 200m for the first time in 2017 and repeated it in 2018.[3]

She also won the 100m and 200m at the 2019 Games of the Small States of Europe.

She was selected for the 2021 European Athletics Team Championships.[4] She finished third in the Karlstad Grand Prix in Sweden 200m race.[5]

In June 2021, under the universality rule within the Olympic qualifying criteria which allows smaller nations with developing sports programs to send representatives to the competition she was confirmed as being selected for the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics.[6]
