Gururaj is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Kannada cinema. He is known for his 2009 film Gilli, the remake of Tamil film 7G Rainbow Colony.[1]

Career[]

Gururaj made his acting debut in 1994 with Beda Krishna Ranginata starring his father Jaggesh. In 2002 he wrote a story for his father's movie Makeup. In 2007 he acted in Tamashegagi along with his uncle Komal.

His performance as a lead actor in the 2009 movie Gilli is noted. In 2012 he acted in Guru, directed by his father Jaggesh. In the same year he acted in Sankranthi. In 2015 he acted in Paipoti. In 2017 he did a prominent role in Leader starring Shiva Rajkumar.

Personal life[]

Gururaj was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India to actor Jaggesh and Parimala Jaggesh. He has a younger brother. His uncle Komal is also an actor in Kannada cinema. He married his long time Dutch friend Katie Pyle from the Netherlands on 24 April 2014. The couple have a son.
