Gymnopilus rufobrunneus is a species of mushroom in the family Cortinariaceae.

Description[]

The cap is 2 to 3 centimetres (0.8 to 1.2 in) in diameter.[1]

Habitat and distribution[]

Gymnopilus rufobrunneus grows in clusters on the soil, and has been found in Idaho during September.[1]
