HD 47536 c is a candidate extrasolar planet located approximately 396 light-years away in the constellation of Canis Major, orbiting the star HD 47536. Like HD 47536 b, mass and semimajor axis are not exactly known. The mass can either be 6.98 or 13.61 MJ and semimajor axis of 3.72 or 5.20 AU, both depending on the mass of the star. The planet takes 2500 days or 6.84 years to orbit HD 47536. Unlike most planets, the eccentricity of the orbit is generally not known.
The existence of this planet is disputed.[1]
