Social media[]
Cavinder, with her twin sister and basketball teammate, , has established a large social media following since April 2020 when, bored at home during the coronavirus pandemic, they started making dance videos on Hanna's TikTok account.[8][9] They reached 3.3 million TikTok followers by July 2021.[10] On July 1, 2021, after the NCAA allowed student-athletes to be compensated for the use of their name, image and likeness, the twins signed a deal within minutes of it being permitted.[11] They signed endorsement deals with Boost Mobile and Six Star Pro Nutrition.[12][9]
Personal life[]
Cavinder is the daughter of Katie and Tom Cavinder. In addition to her identical twin and basketball teammate Hanna, she has three sisters. Her father played college basketball at Nova Southeastern.[13]
