Halley Wegryn Gross (born December 27, 1985) is an American screenwriter, known for writing episodes of the television series Westworld and for co-writing the video game, The Last of Us Part II.
Early life[]
Halley Gross was born in Florida and grew up in New Jersey. She was a former child actor, most often making appearances in the television show, Law & Order. According to the Los Angeles Times, in college she wanted to become a comedian, but found that comedy "made her uncomfortable".[1]
Gross attended Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University as an undergraduate.[1] She graduated with a degree in creative writing in 2008 and then, in 2010, a master's degree in dramaturgy at New York University.[2]
Gross was a writer and story editor for multiple episodes of the HBO television series "Westworld".[3] She was also a writer for the 2019 Amazon miniseries Too Old to Die Young.[4]
