Hand Eye Society
The Hand Eye Society is a not-for-profit coalition of projects and people in support of Toronto's video game communities.[1]
The Hand Eye Society Organizes socials, unconferences, presentations, showcases and established connections with the interactive design community at large.[2]

Events[]
- The Hand Eye Society Participated in Toronto's 2010 where they held a booth at the TIFF bell Lightbox called Arcadian Renaissance.[4]
- The Hand Eye Society was At the showing off the Torontron.
- In 2011, The Hand Eye Society hosted two incarnations of the Difference Engine Initiative, a program dedicated toward getting more women involved in independent game development.[5]

- Torontron: a 1982 arcade cabinet that has been retrofitted to play six games created by Toronto independent game artists:[6] Albacross,[7] LockON 2,[8] Mondrian Provoked,[9] Monster Puncher,[10] Heavy Weather[11] and Night of the Cephalopods.[12] Traveling events include: Nuit Blanche Festival Toronto,[13] the Canadian Zine Fair Canzine[14] Toronto Fan Expo,[15] Flash In The Can,[16] Toronto Comic Arts Festival[17] Function 13,[18] InterAccess[19] and Gamercamp.[20]
