Hannan Municipal Airport known as Hannan General Airport (Chinese: 汉南通用机场) locally is an municipal airport that serves Hannan District, Wuhan. It is the biggest airport in China that only handles general aviation.[1] It is the biggest municipal airport in Hubei Province.

The airport is considered as a 2B level public airport. The airport is able to handle small aircraft such as Cessna 208.

The airport hosted the World Fly-in Expo 2017.

The airport is constructed on 919 acres (372 ha) of land near the Yangtze River; initial construction took eight months.

Facilities[]

Hannan Municipal airport has one single runway with a parallel taxiway. The hangar is available to park 3 boeing 737, or about 100 small airplanes.

Runway Length: 1600m(5249 ft), Runway Width:30m(98 ft).
