Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (SSE: 600664) is a Chinese partially state-owned pharmaceutical manufacturer.[1][2][3]

Harbin Pharmaceutical is engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sale of pharmaceutical products. Harbin primarily offers antibiotics, Chinese patent medicines, over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, healthcare products and synthesized preparations, among others. Its main products include penicillin and calcium gluconate.[4]

In 2007, the Company obtained approximately 73% and 14% of its total revenue from the sale of western medicines and traditional Chinese medicines, respectively. As of December 31, 2007, the company had two subsidiaries/associates: one specializes in manufacturing oral solutions, while the other is engaged in the retail and wholesale of pharmaceuticals.

The company's key executives include Zhang Zhenping as chairman, Xu Haiying as president, and Meng Xiaodong as Vice President/Secretary.[4]

As of August 2020, Harbin was a 40% owner of GNC Holding Inc., and in September 2020, acquired the company for $770 million.[5][6]
