Hartmannibacter is a Gram-negative, nitrogen-fixing, strictly aerobic and motile genus of bacteria.[1][2][3][4] Hartmannibacter is named after the German microbiologist .[1] Hartmannibacter diazotrophicus has been isolated from rhizospheric soil of the plant .[4]
