Heather Benedict Terrell (born November 24, 1968)[2] is an American novelist and lawyer who writes some of her novels as Marie Benedict.[3]
Life[]
Terrell is a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, Boston College, and Boston University School of Law.[2] For ten years she was a litigator in New York City for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Morrison & Foerster. Her success with her first novel, The Chrysalis, prompted a career change to writing full-time.
She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband Jim Terrell and their sons Jack and Ben.
