Helen Purchase

Helen C. Purchase is a researcher in information visualization, graph drawing, and human–computer interaction who works as a senior lecturer in the School of Computing Science of the University of Glasgow.[1]

Purchase earned a doctorate at the University of Cambridge in 1992.[2] Before moving to Glasgow, she was a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland, Australia, where she won a teaching award in 1999.[3]

She is the author of the book Experimental Human-Computer Interaction (Cambridge University Press, 2012), and was a keynote speaker at the 7th International Symposium on Visual Information Communication & Interaction (VINCI 2014) in Sydney, Australia.[4]
