Dr. Hemo Prova Saikia (born 21 February 1940)[1] was member of Assam Legislative Assembly.

Saikia was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly in 2001 and 2006 from Nazira constituency. She was a minister of Handloom and Textiles in Tarun Gogoi government. She was defeated by Drupad Borgohain of Communist Party of India. She was also chairman of Assam Tourism Development Corporation. She was the wife of former Chief Minister of Assam, Hiteswar Saikia and her son Debabrata Saikia is current Leader of Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
