Career[]

Youth[]

Ikuvalu plays for the school team at Samoana High School.[2]

Club[]

At barely 16 years of age, Ikuvalu was Pago Youth FC's number one goalkeeper entering 2019 OFC Champions League qualification.[3] He went on to start in the team's opening 1–5 defeat to Lotohaʻapai United from Tonga.[4] Pago Youth failed to advance past the preliminary round after finishing last in the group.[5]

International[]

Ikuvalu was a member of the American Samoa under-17 team that competed in the 2018 OFC U-16 Championship.[6] He appeared in matches against Samoa[7] and Cook Islands[8] as the team finished second in the group and narrowly missed advancement.[9]

He received his first senior international call up for the 2019 Pacific Games.[10] He made his debut on 12 July 2019 in American Samoa's fourth match of the tournament, a defeat to the Solomon Islands. Ikuvalu started the match on the bench but came on as a substitute after Nicky Salapu suffered an injury. He produced a "stunning save" after coming on.[11]
