Henry Waymouth (1791 – 23 January 1848), also spelt Weymouth, was one of the founding financial backer and Director of the South Australian Company, which was formed in January 1836.[1] Waymouth Street, Adelaide took its name from him.[2]
On his death in London on 23 January 1848,[2] Thomas Fussell, the second largest shareholder, supplied the vacant position.[3]
