Hosh Bannaga

Hosh Bannaga (Arabic: حوش بانقا), 150 kilometres north of the capital Khartoum, is a village located in the outskirts of Shendi on the east bank of the Nile River in the River Nile state. A family house in Hosh Bannaga was the birthplace of former military officer and 7th President of Sudan Omar al-Bashir.
