Hosh Bannaga
Hosh Bannaga (Arabic: حوش بانقا), 150 kilometres north of the capital Khartoum, is a village located in the outskirts of Shendi on the east bank of the Nile River in the River Nile state. It is the birthplace of former President Omar al-Bashir.[1][2][3]Coordinates: 16°39′34.4″N 33°20′47.0″E / 16.659556°N 33.346389°E

A family house in Hosh Bannaga was the birthplace of former military officer and 7th President of Sudan Omar al-Bashir.
