Hurand (Persian: هوراند; also Romanized as Hūrānd and Howrānd; also known as Horand)[2] is a city and capital of Hurand District, in Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 4,555, in 1423 families.[3]
