Huzaifa Aamir Rashadi is an Indian politician[1] and student leader based in Aligarh and Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.[2] Huzaifa Rashadi is the Honorary Secretary of the Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union and also the Son of Maulana Aamir Rashadi Madni. He holds a degree of MA from Aligarh Muslim University.[3] Huzaifa Aamir is better known for Voice of Dissent, Students Issues Politics and For Protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 and National Register of Citizenship. and also for Activism for the rights of Students From Aligarh to New Delhi via Azamgarh, Lucknow
Early life and education[]
Huzaifa was born in Azamgarh, in 1996. He has completed his primary education from , Jamiatur Rashad Azamgarh. He attended Children Senior Secondary School +2, Azamgarh. Huzaifa participated in state level debates, science exhibitions, Singing and co-curricular activities while at school. He was also the school captain in Cricket.
He then pursued Bsc (Bachelor of Science) in Geology and MA LAMM (Language of Advertising Media Marketing) from Aligarh Muslim University.
Political career[]
In November 2018, Huzaifa Aamir Rashadi[4] was elected as a Honorary Secretary[5] of the Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union by huge margin.[6]
Jailed For Dissent[]
In August 2019, Huzaifa came into the limelight when he was arrested[7] from AMU for Protesting against VC[8] and Registrar for the Issues of the Students of Aligarh Muslim University[9] for two months they were protesting for the revoke of the Debarred Students of AMU.[10][11][12] He was expelled from AMU for 5 years due to some reasons.[13]
Anti CAA Movement[]
In 2019, During the Anti-CAA protests. He started campaigning against CAA-NRC, the 2019 amendment in Indian Citizenship Act.[14]
