The forewings are pale ochreous irregularly sprinkled with brownish, with a few whitish scales and an undefined elongate patch of fuscous suffusion along the median third of the costa, cut by a short oblique white line before the middle, beneath this two spots of irroration (sprinkles) formed of raised black scales obliquely placed in the disc preceded by whitish suffusion, a small spot of similar irroration beyond the extremity of the line, a similar small spot above the dorsum at one-third, as well as some indistinct fuscous mottling towards the costa posteriorly and several very small blackish terminal dots.
