The Kejohanan Futsal IPT (Institut Pengajian Tinggi) or IPT (Institutions of Higher Education) Futsal League is the second top flight futsal league in Malaysia, introduced in 2010.
The annual tournament is based on a circuit format hosted by selected universities around Malaysia. Teams from Malaysian institutions of higher education, such as public universities, private universities / university colleges, polytechnics and community colleges enter several circuits (currently 7), usually held during March to September. A circuit lasts for four days (from Thursday to Sunday).
The top eight teams from each circuit collect points, and the teams with the highest points qualify for the Grand Finale, to compete for the Piala Menteri Pengajian Tinggi (Minister of Higher Education Trophy). The Grand Finale is usually held in October or November.
Since its inception in 2010, the Kejohanan Futsal IPT (IPT Futsal League) title for the men's category has been won three times by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). UiTM won the league title in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons.
The women's category was introduced in the 2011 season, and UiTM won back-to-back titles in the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
The Kejohanan Futsal IPT (IPT Futsal League) has been supported by sponsorship partners including Maxis, FELDA and Futsalworks since 2012. The tournament is currently using Penalty Max 1000 balls as the official ball of the tournament, provided by Futsalworks.
