ITV News Channel TV is the evening news programme produced by ITV Channel and broadcasting to the Channel Islands. It broadcasts for thirty minutes each Monday to Friday from 18:00, covering regional news stories, features, sport and weather. It is presented by Jess Dunsdon and Jonathan Wills.[1] Shorter bulletins air at other times.

The programme had launched in 1976 as Channel Report and was renamed as ITV News Channel TV in 2013 to bring it into line with the other ITV regions.

Overview[]

The news service is produced from the main studios of ITV Channel in St. Helier, Jersey. Reporters and camera crews are also based at Channel's Guernsey studios in St Sampson's. Freelance correspondents, camera crews and video journalists are based on Alderney and Sark.

From March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, running times of all short bulletins are reduced. The main 6pm programme is now fronted by a single presenter instead of two.
