I Am Somebody's Child: The Regina Louise Story is a 2019 film that aired on Lifetime. The film is based on the life of Regina Louise who serves as a co-executive producer and starring , Ginnifer Goodwin, Monique Coleman, Sherri Saum, and Kim Hawthorne.[1]

On April 21, 2019, a "Special Edition" of the film aired that featured behind the scenes interviews with Louise, Fairley, Goodwin, Coleman, and Hawthorne.

Plot[]

Regina Louise () is a girl who has been placed in 30 foster homes and psychiatric facilities before the age of 18. A woman named Jeanne Kerr (Ginnifer Goodwin) wants to adopt her only to be denied because of the racially-motivated ruling. Though Jeanne doesn't give up on Regina and plans to be her lifeline.
