Iain Maxwell Stewart

Iain Maxwell Stewart (1916-1985) was a Scottish industrialist.

He was President of the Institution of Engineers and Shipbuilders in Scotland during which period he founded the Marlow lectures, which commenced in 1964.[1] The name of the lectures derived from the of 1963.

Stewart was a golfing partner with Sean Connery, a connection which led to the later making the film The Bowler and the Bunnet in 1967.[2]

He was knighted in 1968.
