Ibrahim Fareed Didi

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Prince Ibrahim Fareed Didi was the son of Sultan Abdul Majeed Didi[citation needed] and Princess consort Famuladeyrige Didi. He was the brother of King Muhammad Fareed Didi of Maldives. Prince Ibrahim Fareed spent most of his life in the Kingdom of Egypt.

He served as the speaker of People's Majlis from 1954 to 1959.[1]

He was proclaimed as the Sultan of Maldives by the supporters of monarchy when King Muhammed Fareed died in 1969 but he never claimed the throne by himself.
