Ida Engvoll (born 6 October 1985) is a Swedish actress.[1] She has appeared in more than fifteen films since 2009.
Biography[]
Ida Engvoll was born on October 8, 1985 in Söderhamn Municipality, Sweden. Engvoll grew up in Stråtjära in Hälsingland. After theater and music-oriented educations at Torsbergsgymnasiet in Bollnäs, Wendelsberg Folk High School and Birkagården's classical music line, she studied in the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting in the years 2007 – 2010.[2] She was then also co-editor of the theater theoretical anthology To shape gender. She has played several acclaimed roles at Stockholm City Theater since 2010 and has also been active at Royal Dramatic Theatre[3] and played in several films and TV series.[4] She is known for starring in TV4 filmatiseringar from Åsa Larsson's series of books about lawyer Rebecca Martinsson.[5][6] In 2015 she starred in the film A Man Called Ove.
