The Ideal Ice Cream is an ice cream manufacturing company based in Mangalore, India.[2] It was started on 1 May 1975 by Prabhakar Kamath,[3] and today it's the biggest ice cream manufacturer in Mangalore with an 80% market share.[1] It has currently four outlets in and around Mangalore, with one of its outlets in the Market Road is considered as India's 3rd Largest Ice Cream Parlour.[4] The brand's signature dish is the so-called Gadbad, a tall glass with layers of ice-cream, jelly, dry-fruits and fresh fruits.[3]

Pabbas in MG Road, Mangalore is an outlet belonging to this company but under a different name.[citation needed]
