Illuminations is the 17th studio album from rock band Wishbone Ash recorded during 1995. It features a brand new version of the band with founding member Andy Powell along with new members Tony Kishman, Roger Filgate and Mike Sturgis.[1] It is the first Wishbone Ash studio album since Strange Affair five years earlier.
To fund the album's production, founding member Andy Powell reached out to friends and family via the Internet.[citation needed]
