Intermediate zone of cortex

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In human embryology, the intermediate zone of the cortex is a layer in the neural tube between the marginal zone and the pia mater.

It contains bipolar cells as well as multipolar cells. The latter have a special type of neuronal migration - multipolar migration.[1]
