The International Boxing Association (IBA) is an organization that sanctions professional boxing matches and awards world and inter-continental championships all over the world. The organization is considered to be one of the applicable organizations in boxing, but is not recognized by the International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) as a major organization. The IBA has a rich history of big fights and champions.
History[]
The IBA was founded in the 1990s by Dean Chance, a former Major League Baseball pitcher. It has gained acclaim with its titles having been held by a number of notable boxers.[1]
In June 2017 the organization announced its relaunch under the leadership of Jean-Christophe Courreges.[2][3]
