International Broadcasting Convention, more commonly known by its initials IBC, is an annual trade show, held in September at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. IBC's tagline is "The World's Most Influential Media, Entertainment & Technology Show" and is aimed at broadcasters, content creators/providers, equipment manufacturers, professional and technical associations, and other participants in the broadcasting, entertainment and technology industry.

In its 50th anniversary, IBC2017 had a record attendance attracting more than 55,000 attendees from 150 countries around the world, exhibiting more than 1,700 of the world's technology suppliers and showcasing a debate-leading conference.

IBC is an independent body, owned by six partner bodies: IABM, IEEE, IET, RTS, SCTE and SMPTE, with a full-time professional staff.

The 2020 edition of the show was originally scheduled for 11–15 September 2020, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
