The International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) is a trade association that represents pharmaceutical companies around the world. It was formed in 1968 and is based in Geneva, Switzerland.[1]

In September 2005, IFPMA launched the IFPMA Clinical Trials Portal, a database of registered clinical trials.[citation needed]

In 2012, IFPMA released a strengthened code of ethics and professional standards.[2]

The International Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association (IPCAA) works in partnership with the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and IFPMA.[3]
