The International University of Goražde (IUG) is a private university located in the city of Goražde, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The university was established by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci Efe, mr. sci. Elma Brutus and Dr. Emir Duranović.[citation needed] IUG is open to students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and all over the Levant and Middle East. and the language of instruction and communication is English. It offers education according to Bologna system ( I. cycle, II. cycle and III. cycle diplomas).
IUG has 84 students on 3 Faculties and 12 Departments performing academic activities in disciplines of Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences. First generation of students was enrolled in IUG in the 2015/2016 academic year.
The future plans of the IUG are to open the university doors for Turkish, Indian citizens.
University Administration[]
The university has only an Executive Board. The Rector, Prof. Dr. Hajriz Bećirović, was born in Priboju, R. Srbija. He is married and has 2 children. Other main faculty at the IUG are: Dean Prof. Dr. Suada Heljić (Faculty of Medical Sciences-FZN), Prof. Dr. Muamer Kalić(Faculty of Technical Sciences-FTN), Prof Dr.Ševket Krcić (Faculty of Educational Sciences-FEN) and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Mehmet Naci EFE (Faculty of Social Sciences-FDN).

The International University of Goražde comprises:
- Faculty of Social Sciences (Department of Law, Business economy, Banking and Management);
- Faculty of Technical Sciences (Department of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Survey and Electrical Engineering);
- Faculty of Medical Sciences (Department of General Medicine, Stomatology, Pharmacy, Medical Nursery and Physiotherapy) and
- Faculty of Educational Sciences (Department of Psychology, Turkish language and Literature).

IUG students have been involved in various activities.
Campus[]
The IUG has in plan to build a modern urban campus in city of Goražde in near future.
