One of the Washington State Senate office buildings was renamed the Irv Newhouse Building in 1998.[1]
Irving Ralph Newhouse (October 16, 1920 – March 29, 2001) was an American farmer and politician in the state of Washington. He served in the Washington House of Representatives from 1965 to 1980 and in the Senate from 1980 to 1999.[2][3][4]
