Isaiah Toothtaker is a rapper and tattoo artist from Tucson, Arizona. He is a co-founder of the indie hip hop collective Machina Muerte.[1]

History

Isaiah Toothtaker released Illuminati Thug Mafia on Machina Muerte in January 2011.[2] The album includes the tracks such as "Get Housed Homeboy,"[3] "Intruder,"[4] and "Faith No More."[5]

He collaborated with Max B and The Hood Internet on Toothy Wavy.[6] It was released on Mishka in May 2012.[7]

Rob Zombie, his collaborative EP with Rapewolf, was released in June 2012. It is entirely produced by Harry Fraud.[8]

He released Sea Punk Funk on Anticon in July 2012.[9] It is entirely produced by Sixtoo.[10] It features vocal contributions from Western Tink, ShowYouSuck, Antwon, and Murs.[11] Dan Gibson of Tucson Weekly described the album as "dark and ominous stuff which might not be for everyone, but creative and weird in the best possible way."[12]

In early 2013, Isaiah release "ILLMATIC 2", and later a collaborative single with Gunplay titled "Frownin".[13]

In 2020, local newspaper Tucson Weekly took down their 2013 interview with Toothtaker in response to behavioural allegations.[14]
